2. Three selectable EDID modes let you choose the audio format: TV mode, 2.0 CH (outputs stereo via both optical and 3.5mm), and 5.1 CH (outputs surround sound via optical). The 3.5mm output supports 2.0 PCM/LPCM stereo; the optical output supports 2.0 and 5.1 PCM inputs. For best results, set your source device to output PCM/LPCM audio.

3. This extractor works with a wide range of HDMI source devices, including Blu-ray/DVD players, Fire TV, PS5, Xbox, PC/laptops, HD cameras, and HD DVRs. It supports resolutions up to 4K 60Hz and is also backward compatible with 1080p 3D.

Note: Devices with low‑power HDMI ports (such as PS4 or PS4 Slim) may require the included USB power cable. We recommend using a power supply for reliable operation.
